Swashbuckling Hobo Records is an independent Australian record label catering to the budget conscious rock n' roll hobo. The label was hatched in 2007 by Larmos and Dr Rock of the Dangermen to house like-minded rock n' roll aficionados who want nothing to do with the record industry proper. The record label is renowned for its rough edged recordings done on various 8 track analogue machines, producing some of the finest sounds Brisbane has heard in years. The Hobo recalls reading a quote in a music industry magazine. It stated, "No-one likes a lazy band". WE DO NOT ASCRIBE TO THIS. We only associate with lazy bands. This is the reason Swashbuckling Hobo Records was born - access to recording for the lazy rock n' roll hobos we associate with.
